Another good weekend for the Zdybel’s. Jonathan had fun celebrating his sisters 9th birthday. Even though he could not participate in the “Booger Wars”, he enjoyed having fun with few friends and cousins at Kaitlin’s birthday party. He loved the cake, pizza and especially the chips (not too many, we are still watching his sodium, he has high BP do to kidney swelling). Doctors visit today, tomorrow back to the rehab to work super hard.
Jonathan's first unofficial visit to school for Fine Arts Night!
He was so happy to see his friends!!!
Jonathan had a great weekend. He is no longer an inpatient, he got to sleep in his own bed for the first time since accident! He did a little bit of shopping and got Rita's ice. He was happy to see some friends and go out for dinner. Now, we will have to drive to DE five days a week for full days of therapy, but we get to be home for the weekends and nights. Jonathan is working very hard in therapy, doing his best!

Wow, what a great day! Jonathan had great therapy sessions in AM, then we got to go home for the afternoon. He managed to have pizza with two of his friends, go to church for the first time after the accident, ( Thank you God for our miracle !!!!!!) and have his favorite chinese food for dinner with another friend and even have a little time to play on his x-box. We were both very tired when we went back to the rehab, but a visit from our nurse from Cooper gave as renewed energy. Seeing her reminded me of how far we have got in those two months. It was so nice to see her smiling face!
Good day for the Zdybels. Tomorrow back to full day of therapy.....Thank you for the prayers and please keep them coming! - Halina & Kris
Happy Easter! Jonathan had a wonderful Easter, we were able to bring him home for one day. He was thrilled to be home, he had a list of things he wanted to do at home. He got to spend time with Zeus, our dog, they both missed each other very much. Check out his room with all the posters and gifts he got, and spend time with family and few friends. Way too fast the day flew by, and it was time to go back to the rehab. He can't
wait to be home again! Thank you everyone for your prayers, our baby was back home, and that's a miracle! We still have a way to go, but he is recovering beautifully, and we are so grateful for that.
